چکیده
This paper presents a 2-link, 2-DOF flexible manipulator control using an inverse feedforward controller and adaptive notch filter with direct strain feedback controller. In the manipulator, transient residue vibrations inhibit full potential of manipulator. Vibrations caused by abrupt changes in direction links are referred to as vibrations, whereas residual occur when arm takes too long settle after engaging intended task. The will reduce vibration beginning halting suddenly, while assure quick decay leftover vibrations. Maple, Maplesim, MATLAB tools were used model create filter. experiments took place dSPACE desk environment. experimental results spectral power resulting from two strategies compared. From results, had over 80% improvement reduction resonant frequencies that contribute vibration. confirmed feasibility approach, characterized very minimal settling end effector.

This system is modeled as a nonlinear multi-input multi-output (MIMO) control systems whose inputs are two...
متن کاملVibration Based Control for Flexible Link Manipulator
Robotic manipulators are widely used to help in dangerous, monotonous, and tedious jobs. Most of the existing robotic manipulators are designed and built in a manner to maximize stiffness in an attempt to minimize the vibration of the end-effectors. This high stiffness is achieved by using heavy material and bulky design. Hence, the existing heavy rigid manipulators are shown to be inefficient ...

متن کاملModelling of a Two-Link Flexible Manipulator
This paper presents development of a dynamic model of a two-link flexible manipulator. An explicit, complete, and accurate nonlinear dynamic model of the system is developed using assumed mode method. The Lagrangian approach is used to derive the dynamic model of the system. Several responses including angular positions and displacements of both links are obtained and analysed.
متن کاملVibration Control of a Flexible Link Manipulator Using Smart Structures
The active vibration suppression of a flexible link manipulator using a smart structure (piezoelectric actuator) is investigated. For this purpose, a Finite Element (FE) model is developed for the modal and transient analysis of a cantilever beam and a flexible link manipulator. The novelty of this work is in the development of an accurate finite element model of a piezoelectric and beam/manipu...
